We planned to develop new plan for this industrial building listed as a historic monument. During the fifties, the tower, which characteries the cityscape of Rheinberg was used to store Underbergs´s famous"Kräuterbitter" (herb liqueur). The goal is to change the building´s use from a storage tower into a **** hotel with 48 rooms, offices, conference rooms and flats. In co-operation with LEG and the city of Rheinberg the project is now in the planning and realisation stage. The company Underberg takes part in the joint development and plans a visitor´s centre in the nearby warehouses. We expect this project to be like a magnet and a further stimulation of the city centre that could set new trends. It is also part of our task to address the subject of parking space, traffic and the connection to the market. We take all this into consideration for the planning. For this we were assigned completing by the city Rheinberg.
